During
her years at Active Money Management, Karen Schuman
has served as special projects manager, assisting
with estate and insurance issues, while helping
customers plan their financial futures. She
received her associate’s degree in general studies
from Phoenix College and is currently pursuing
a bachelor’s degree from Ottawa University. A
notary public and Arizona insurance licensee,
Karen is a member of the National Notary Association,
American Society of Notaries, Eagles and America
Legion Post 44.
In addition to certifications
from Zenger-Miller, Six Sigma and Frontline Leadership,
she has been the recipient of the Vocational Industrial
Clubs of America (VICA) Mentor Award and Honeywell
Employee of the Month Award. Also, she has received
the Certificate of Achievement, People Source
of Our Pride Certificate, and the Rewards and
Recognition Award from Honeywell.
When away from work,
Karen enjoys cooking, theatre, wine tasting, cards
and crossword puzzles.
