An aggressive self-starter and highly motivated, Gay is a creative thinker whose drive to excel is highlighted by an ability to organize multiple assignments, pay attention to details and solve problems. She is a team player who collaborates well with colleagues and administration when interfacing with all levels of personnel.

Gay was the controller of a specialty piping company for more than 21 years, with projects in multiple states and countries. She received her bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Texas.

Gay is a Kolbe consultant and a 25-year member of Order of the Eastern Star and an adult leader in International Order of the Rainbow Girls. Outside the office, she enjoys hiking, camping, tennis and going to the beach.
